From Concept to Comfort – Automotive Seating Development

We have been deeply involved in the development of automotive seating systems for a leading player in the automotive industry through a dedicated work package. The assignment included engineering design, concept solutions, and key technical decisions, with the goal of creating seats that combine safety, comfort, and functionality — while also being optimized for efficient serial production.

The team worked in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers throughout the entire development process — from early concepts and architecture studies to fully production-ready solutions. Along the way, we managed technical challenges, implemented improvements, and adapted designs based on requirements related to quality, cost-efficiency, and manufacturability.

With a combination of senior technical leads and experienced design engineers, we took responsibility at both system and component level. The work was characterized by structure, flexibility, and a strong focus on execution.

The result is robust and highly optimized seating solutions that meet demanding requirements — from initial concept to verified product in serial production.
