We worked with the user experience of perceived interior space, focusing on how spacious a vehicle feels to both drivers and passengers. The assignment centered on translating subjective experiences into clear and actionable requirements for product development.

Through close collaboration with ergonomics and development teams, we provided expert support in defining target levels for perceived spaciousness. The work was based on analyses of competitor solutions, user studies, and human-centered considerations, balancing both emotional perception and measurable factors.

The result is a set of clearly defined and well-anchored requirement levels that establish a common language for how vehicle spaciousness is perceived. These guidelines can serve as a foundation for the development of multiple future vehicle models, ensuring a consistent experience of space and comfort across different models and technical platforms.Perceived Spaciousness in Vehicle Interiors
