Chassis Development for Heavy-Duty Vehicles

We have worked hands-on and close to the development of chassis systems within a dedicated work package. The assignment covered major parts of the truck’s core structure — from load-bearing frames and suspensions to the integration of tanks, systems, and surrounding components.

In day-to-day development work, we contributed with engineering design, problem-solving, and concept development across several areas, including battery installation, cab suspension and cab tilt systems, hydraulic systems, beams and frames, as well as the integration of various tank solutions. The work also included components such as chassis skirts, catwalks, fenders, brackets, and the routing of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

The team held a clear technical ownership role, continuously planning activities and deliveries throughout the project. We followed up on progress, managed quality-related issues, and resolved deviations in close collaboration with other development teams and management. As project conditions evolved, we quickly adapted solutions and priorities to ensure the right delivery at the right time.

The result is robust and well-engineered chassis solutions where functionality, durability, and manufacturability are fully aligned — from early concept to final production-ready solution.
