About the role
Would you like to combine technology, coordination and improvement work in a role where teamwork is important? We are now looking for a Test Fleet Engineer to join Sigma and work on an assignment with one of our customers in the automotive industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high availability and efficient use of the customer’s test fleet. You will work closely with project management, test teams and workshops, coordinating activities throughout the full vehicle lifecycle. In case of unplanned stops, you will drive the work forward by securing workshop resources, materials, spare parts and transport when needed.
An important part of your daily work will be to drive continuous improvements. You will identify ways to improve working methods and processes and take the initiative to turn ideas into practical changes. Your ability to work with others and get people involved will be important – improvements are something we achieve together.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with broad work experience and experience from several different roles. This has given you a good understanding of how different parts of an organization work together. Experience from the automotive industry, project management or technical coordination is an advantage.
As a person, you are positive, engaged and down-to-earth. You enjoy working with others, building good relationships and getting people involved. You see opportunities rather than problems and have the energy and persistence to drive change forward. Your attitude and ability to create engagement are just as important to us as your technical skills. Simply put, you are someone who puts the team first.
Experience and qualifications
- Around 5–10 years of experience working as an engineer, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Good technical understanding and an interest in vehicles and product development.
- Experience coordinating and driving activities from problem to solution.
- Experience with continuous improvement and a natural drive to improve ways of working.
- Good communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English.
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Product Development, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a similar field.
