We are looking for an experienced Senior Marine Systems Engineer to strengthen our industry-leading Marine Engineering team.
We are particularly interested in engineers with experience in marine and hull systems, offshore vessels, FPSOs/FSOs/FSRUs, floating structures and vessel conversion projects.
Our team has extensive experience delivering complex marine and offshore projects, ranging from semi-submersibles and FPSOs to heavy-lift vessels, dredgers and ice-breaking ships. We support our clients through all project phases, from concept development and FEED studies through detailed design, fabrication, installation, commissioning and operational support.
As a Senior Marine Systems Engineer, you will be part of a highly specialized team delivering marine systems solutions for offshore and marine projects. You will play a key role in defining marine and utility system solutions, supporting technical decision-making from concept development through engineering, fabrication and commissioning.
Your responsibilities:
You will work within multidisciplinary project teams and be involved in:
- Concept development and FEED studies.
- Functional design of marine and hull systems.
- Development and review of P&IDs.
- Design and development of Marine & Utility Systems, including ballast, bilge, seawater, fuel, cooling, heating, hydraulic, compressed air and auxiliary systems.
- Marine systems engineering for floating structures, FPSOs, FSOs, FSRUs and specialized vessels.
- Hydraulic and thermal analyses.
- System calculations and preparation of technical documentation.
- Evaluation of alternative technical solutions and system configurations.
- Participation in HAZID, HAZOP and design reviews.
- System integration and interface management across marine, process, structural and electrical disciplines.
- Coordination with naval architects, structural engineers, process engineers and package vendors.
- Interface with shipyards, classification societies and client organizations.
- Technical support during fabrication, commissioning and vessel delivery.
Depending on your experience, the role may also include:
- Discipline leadership within Marine Systems.
- Technical coordination across engineering disciplines.

Kvalifikationer
We are looking for someone who has
- MSc or BSc degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- 8+ years of experience in Marine Systems Engineering.
- Strong experience in marine and utility systems design, system integration and multidisciplinary engineering environments.
- Experience with ballast, bilge, fuel, seawater, cargo handling, utility or HVAC systems'.
- Experience from FPSO/FSO, FSRU, FLNG projects, vessel conversions, offshore vessels, dredging vessels, heavy-lift vessels or ship newbuild projects.
- Excellent knowledge of P&ID development and system documentation.
- Experience working with classification societies and international regulations.
- Understanding of risk assessment processes such as HAZID and HAZOP.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary and international project environments.
- Fluent English communication skills.
