Project manager/Lead Engineer ARMORED VEHICLES to Sigma!

Your profile:

We are looking for someone who is a Project Manager or an experienced Lead Engineer with expertise in defense and armored vehicles. At least five years of experience with armored vehicles is required, as well as at least 8 years of experience with heavy vehicles, preferably trucks.

You will drive product development for advanced armored vehicles and take on a key role at the intersection of requirements, system ownership, and supplier collaboration. The client operates in heavy vehicles, and the role is based in Gothenburg.

The role combines project management, product architecture, and system ownership. You will be an important link between internal stakeholders and the supplier base.

What you'll do:
Drive and coordinate product development work for armored vehicles.
Manage and follow up on requirements at the system and product level.
Be the contact point for suppliers on technical and product-related matters.
Ensure progress, quality, and alignment among all parties involved.

Experience required:
At least eight years of relevant experience in heavy vehicles.
Relevant experience with armored vehicles.

Experience in requirements management, system ownership, or product architecture.
Ability to collaborate effectively with external suppliers.

Project management or lead role

B.Sc or M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or similar

At least 5 years of experience in project management or similar

Good knowledge of both Swedish and English is required, in both speaking and writing
