 Say hello to Evelina! A behavioral scientist who recently joined us at Sigma thanks to a recommendation from a friend – we were very happy about that! Her interest in the engineering profession grew as Evelina realized that as an engineer, you have significant opportunities to participate in the development and improvement of things in society; it’s an innovative profession! Evelina truly enjoys the creative aspect and solving problems. She studied behavioral science and finds it fascinating to combine her knowledge and interest in human behavior with technology and product development. 

In her current role as a human factors engineer, Evelina’s work is both practical and theoretical. Some days, the focus is on user studies, testing with product users to understand how various parameters affect product usage, user experience, or behaviors related to the product. Other days involve a lot of computer work to manage and analyze data from studies or prepare for upcoming studies. 

The best thing about the consulting profession, for Evelina, is the opportunity to try different things in various projects and the chance to work with two sets of colleagues – both on the assignment and at Sigma! 

When Evelina isn’t working as a human factors engineer, she loves to spend as much time as possible outdoors. Sailing, trail running, and snowboarding are close to her heart. She’s also working on her second mini-van with just 4 square meters of space, which we think is pretty cool! Evelina is also a certified yoga instructor, so there might be a yoga session or two as well!
