”An obvious choice to work in in product development”

Becoming an engineer is something I’ve always felt strongly about. When I was little, I used to take apart all sorts of things just to see how they were put together and worked. Over time, an interest in design and form also began to emerge. That’s why it was an obvious choice for me to work in product development, where I can be both creative and dive deep into technical details. 

I came into contact with Sigma through a friend who recommended it to me. The consultant role suited me well because it’s always nice to have the opportunity to try new assignments and learn new things. 

In my current assignment, I work as a Design Engineer for a company that focuses on outdoor products. There, I get to be involved in developing products from concept to the finished product. A typical day can vary from brainstorming features for the next product to sending drawings to toolmakers. 

In my free time, fittingly considering my work assignment, I enjoy being outdoors, engaging in various activities like hiking, climbing, and kayaking. I can also appreciate starting a good movie at home or playing some guitar.
