At Sigma Industry West, we see a growing need for skilled design engineers and are now looking for someone who wants to work with product development within engines and powertrains.
With us, you will work in project form, either on-site with the customer or in our in-house operations at Lindholmen. As a design engineer, you will work with everything from castings and machined parts to designs in sheet metal.
We offer a varied and developing work environment where you will be a key player in projects that require accuracy, technical interest, and a practical understanding of engines.
We are looking for someone who has:

Engineering degree (B.Sc/M.Sc) in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or similar

At least 3 years of experience with design in CREO

Solid knowledge of KOLA

Experience in designing castings, machined parts, or bent sheet metal

A strong interest in engines or previous experience working with diesel engines

The ability to work in a structured way and to thrive in close collaboration with others
Meriting:

Experience with components in marine applications and industrial engines

Practical experience or an interest in working with engines in a hands-on way

Experience working with international suppliers
